Crimson Certified Enterprise Application Developer

The Crimson Certified Enterprise Application Developer program is meant for developers who have basic understanding of the Java programming language. The following topics are covered and the evaluation would compose of a 50 multiple choice questions and a 3 hour lab session.
1)Introduction to Java Programming Using the Eclipse Environment
2)Setting up the development environment and version control systems
3)Persistance using JPA and Stateless, Stateful and Entity Beans
4)Developing Web Applications Using Spring WEB and Integrating Spring with Struts
5)Developing Browser side user interface using html and java script, Ajax , RIA,script.aculo.us,Prototype
6)Developing Web Services using JAXB,JAXM and Spring Web Service Adapters
7)Developing a thick client webservice consumer for BlackBerry Devices.
8)Agile Development Practices
9)Setting up continuous build environment using CruiseControl and AntHill
An evaluation will be done after the candidate completes the course and certificates would be issued on completion of the evaluation. If the candidate fails for the certification program once he would be given a second chance free of cost.
